Lisa was born in El Paso, Texas, but spent most of her youth in San Diego County. She speaks fluent Spanish. She discovered the beauty and charm of Ventura in 1997, and has been living here ever since.

Lisa has been a dental assistant for 30 years, and still enjoys growing and moving forward with the future of dentistry. After obtaining her RDA in 1995, she discovered how much she enjoys all of the ways she can help patients with their dental needs, as well as creating beautiful smiles. She then advanced her education at UCLA and obtained her RDAEF credential in 2005. In 2017, Lisa obtained her Certification in Digital Dentistry (CDD), giving her special expertise in the digital design and fabrication of in-office same-day crowns.

When she is not focusing on her passion of dentistry, Lisa enjoys decorating cakes for all occasions and teaching cake and cookie decorating. She also enjoys watching sports (Go Dodgers!), playing softball and golf.
