Position: Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions and Extended Duties (RDAEF2)
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jen moved frequently during her early years, but has called Camarillo home for the past 36 years. She received a Associate of Science degree in Accounting from Ventura College in 1991, and soon discovered that career path was not what she was meant to do. She then enrolled in the Dental Assisting program at Simi Valley Adult School. Jen discovered a passion for dentistry and began her career as an intern with Dr. Kroll in 1992. She then became Dr. Kroll's first RDA in 1993.
With the encouragement and mentorship of Dr. Kroll, Jen attended the Extended Function program at UCLA in 1999, and achieved her RDAEF license. She returned to UCLA in 2009 to further her training to become one of the first RDAEF2s in the state in 2010, graduating in the top of her class.
Jen is married and has two wonderful sons — one in high school and the other in grade school. She enjoys cooking, reading, wine tasting and ballroom dancing with her husband whenever the opportunity arises.
