Dr. Philip Kroll is a highly competent dentist in a technologically advanced dental practice. Skilled in treating complex cosmetic and reconstructive dental cases, he is also  one of the few dentists credentialed to provide implant surgery and prosthetics in Ventura, California.  Dr. Kroll is well-known for his quality, gentleness, and kindness. He has been compassionately creating beautiful smiles in Ventura County for more than 20 years.

Background and Family

Dr. Kroll is a native Californian, born and raised in Northridge. While in his teens, he realized dentistry was the perfect career that would blend his social nature with his love for science and his natural dexterity.

Dr. Kroll graduated in 1982 from Loyola Marymount University earning a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California in 1986, Dr. Kroll began practicing dentistry in Ventura.

Dr. Kroll resides in Ventura with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Dr. Kroll enjoys surfing, swimming, maintaining his black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and playing classical music with his children.

Postdoctorate Educational Awards and Associations

 

2007                The prestigious Mastership Award in the Academy of General Dentistry, achieved by less than 1 percent of all dentists.  Awarded on board the USS Midway in San Diego, California, on June 30, 2007.

 

2007                Clinical instructor at UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Kroll teaches licensed dentists skills in cosmetic dentistry and oral reconstruction.

 

2006                Board of Directors, Western US American Academy of Implant Dentistry

 

2004                Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. This is a recognized credential from the oldest and most prestigious dental implant academy in the world.

 

2001                Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, awarded to less than 5 percent of all dentists.

 

1986                Outstanding proficiency in the treatment of the geriatric patient awarded to Dr. Kroll upon graduation from USC Dental School.
